It is time to make a difference!

There are 572,000 reports of domestic violence that are officially reported to federal officials each year; however, the most conservative estimates indicate two to four million women of all races and classes are battered each year. And at least 170,000 of those violent incidents are serious enough to require hospitalization, emergency room care or a doctor's attention.

According to the FBI, every day four women die in this country as a result of domestic violence. That's approximately 1,400 women a year. (http://www.womenindistress.org/press_release_26_524033909.pdf)

Students Against Domestic Violence Smoothie Drive

We are teaming up with JAMBA JUICE to earn money for the Sojourner Center. We are selling Jamba Juices for $1 on ASU Campus near the MU on Tuesday OCTOBER 4th during Lunch.

Come and support a local battered women shelter.
